It is suitable for clothing such as shirts and outerwear, and can also be used as an embroidery base cloth. Production Method

The fabric of poplin is also woven with plain weave. Compared with plain cloth, the ratio of warp density to weft density is generally 1.8~2.2:1. Since the warp density is significantly larger than the weft density, the surface of the fabric is formed with diamond-shaped grains composed of raised parts of warp yarns. For weaving poplin fabrics, pure cotton or polyester-cotton fine yarns are commonly used. According to the different yarns used, it is divided into yarn poplin, half-thread poplin (strand thread for warp direction), and thread poplin (strand thread for both warp and weft directions).
